Overtune PRO subscribers get a royalty-free non-exclusive license for all loops they export off Overtune. No matter whether you export WAV, Stems, MP3 (without watermark), or individual loops β a license is always provided.
The free plan is for personal use only and does not provide the royalty-free and non-exclusive license.
What you can do
Modify and change the loops in a studio setting or DAW.
Use in both commercially and non-commercially in your own creative work.
Combine with other sounds (e.g., recorded by you, supplied by a producer, or sourced from sound marketplaces) to create new music for your creative work.
Creative work includes but is not limited to using loops in their original or modified form as a component in:
Creation and distribution of new music
Music videos
Video games
Film
TV
Radio
Live performances
Vlogs
What you can't do
Resell the loops, even after modifying them. This includes selling the loops as part of a beat or beat pack on platforms such as Beatstars and Traktrain.
Claim exclusive ownership or intellectual property rights over the original loops.
Provide loops you download for creative work other than your own.
Transfer or sub-license the license to a third party.
Use the loops for the training of LLMs or AI of any sort.
Use the loops in any way that's in violation of the laws in which the creative work is distributed.
Violate the terms of use in any way.
Term and expiration
The license is valid as long as you keep your copy of the license and can present it if requested. If you cancel your subscription, you do not lose the rights to use the loops you have downloaded already according to the license. You will, however, not be able to export new licenses without an active subscription.
